Who is responsible

This website is operated by Mauricio Rodrigues, trading as MXCRODRIGUES, established in Portugal (VAT / NIF PT219539839). If you have a question about your data, email mauricio@mxcrodrigues.com and it reaches the person responsible directly.

What is collected, and only that

Only what you type into the quote form: your name, email address, and whichever of the optional fields you choose to fill in: business name, phone, country, website, location, goal, budget, timeframe and your message. Nothing is collected about you if you simply read the site.

Why, and on what legal basis

To read your enquiry and reply to it, and to prepare a quote if one is wanted. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, together with the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) UK GDPR / EU GDPR).

Where it goes

To an email inbox, and to a file on the same hosting account as this website, so that an email failure never loses an enquiry. It is not sold, rented, shared for advertising, or passed to any third party for their own purposes. The only companies that touch it are the hosting and email provider that run this site on my behalf.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Records connected to work actually carried out are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics. There is a session cookie while you use the quote form. It exists only to protect the form against abuse and disappears when you close the browser. That is why there is no cookie banner: there would be nothing to consent to.

Server logs

The hosting provider records standard access logs, being IP address, time, page requested and browser, as every web server does. These are used for security and troubleshooting, and are held on a short, automatic rotation by the provider.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to it being used, ask for it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email mauricio@mxcrodrigues.com and you will get an answer within 30 days at the latest.

If you are not satisfied

Tell me first. It is usually a misunderstanding and quicker to fix directly. If that does not resolve it, you have the right to complain to Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
